Cayenne Pepper Cleanse

Is it really true that the Cayenne Pepper Cleanse can help you lose weight, clean your body of toxins and mucus and increase your energy levels?

Cayenne Pepper Cleanse Recipe

Once you decide to follow the Cayenne Pepper diet, the instructions for it are pretty simple. You won’t be eating anything else for the duration of the cleanse, so there isn’t a lot of shopping to worry about!

Ideally, you should shop for the ingredients for the Cayenne Pepper Cleanse recipe before you start the program. Having everything on hand will make the diet easier to follow and will allow you to take the time to relax and rest like you should be doing during your detox. No need to be running around to the supermarket.

When it comes to ingredients, organic ingredients are ideal, but don’t let a lack of access to organic foods hold you back. If you can’t find organic lemons or limes, don’t worry about it! In the long run, it isn’t that important.

Now for the recipe. There are two different parts to the Master Cleanse. There’s the lemonade drink and the salt water flush. Both of these are important. On this page, I’m providing the recipe for the cayenne pepper and water diet drink with lemon juice. But you also want to make sure you check the page for the salt water flush as well, as you will need that to really do the fast properly.

What follows is the cayenne pepper cleanse recipe for a 32 oz supply of the drink. This will give you three servings. If you mix 64 ounces in the morning, you should be set for the day. Usually it is easier to mix them into two batches of 32 ounces each.

Cayenne Pepper Cleanse recipe

  • 24 ounces cold purified (or distilled) water
  • three ounces of freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
  • three ounces of Grade B maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Keep in mind, you can use either lemons or limes. It makes no difference, so use whichever citrus fruit you prefer. In fact, you can mix them together if you like to get a lemon-lime flavor to your drink.

Dr. Stanley Burroughs recommended using grade B maple syrup during the cayenne pepper diet. This is the darker maple syrup and it supposedly has more minerals in it. Whether it really makes that big a difference I have no idea, so if you can’t find grade b maple syrup at your local supermarket or a place like Whole Foods, just get whatever pure maple syrup they have on hand. Just make sure that it is actually 100% maple syrup. You don’t want to be drinking Karo syrup or maple flavored syrup or high fructose corn syrup. That’s for sure!

For the cayenne pepper, be careful with the dosage here. A little bit of pepper goes a long way. So try just a very tiny pinch and then taste. If you like, add a bit more. I don’t think you need much cayenne pepper to get the mucus-clearing effect from it.

Now once you make up your batches of lemonade in the morning, you can store it in the fridge. Feel free to pour your drink over ice. I think it is more palatable that way. Also, it really tastes best if you make it fresh daily rather than doing a week’s supply at once.
